Nikolettes to Compete at Provincials in Windsor

The Alliston Nikolettes Gymnastics Club is heading to Windsor April 9-12 for the WAG Provincial Championships.
The club is very proud to announce that all 13 of the club’s All Round athletes have qualified for Provincial Championships.

These girls train from 16-22 hours per week and have competed in several competitions this season to qualify. The girls compete in different groups depending on their age and skill level. Only the top 32 athletes from across the province in each group are selected for this meet. Some of the groups have upwards of 80-90 athletes.

Girls who are 14+ and Level 7+ can also qualify for event finals which includes athletes with the top 10 scores in each event. Ashlyn Christos qualified for event finals in bars, beam, and floor. Julia Bullied qualified for the event finals in beam. Athletes at Provincial Champiohships who are 13+ and competing at Level 7+ can also be selected for Team Ontario to go to the Eastern Championships.
