Oakville Gymnastics is Seeking a Recreational Gymnastics Supervisor

Oakville Gymnastics Club is currently seeking a Recreational Gymnastics Supervisor.


Are you someone who thrives in a busy environment, and can make quick decisions with confidence? Are you a strong communicator who loves working with children and enjoys watching coaches grow and develop under your guidance? As the Recreational Supervisor, you will report to the Recreational Program Manager, and will assist with the running of the recreational program as described below:


Supervise coaches and athletes, check safety of equipment and ensure smooth running of recreational classes. Supervision and coach management experience is an asset.


Coach advanced recreational classes and substitute for competitive groups when available.


Camps – Assist with the preparation of themes, crafts and games, attend off-site activities and supervise morning/afternoon camp, and evening classes as necessary.


All applicants must have:

  • full Foundations or Level 1 certification
  • Risk Management and Respect In Sport
  • Competition Introduction or NCCP Level 2 WAG Certification
  • NCCP Level 2 Trampoline Certification (or be willing to obtain)
  • First Aid/CPR (or be willing to obtain)

Supervising hours can be combined with advanced recreational coaching hours to create either a part-time or full-time position that can range from 3 hours to 35 hours per week. Applicants will need to have evening and weekend availability. Hourly rate or salary will be based on qualifications and experience.

Oakville Gymnastics is one of Canada’s most respected gymnastics clubs. Our Club offers Recreational and Competitive Programs in our state of the art, 25,000 square foot facility. The program is built on the philosophy of putting children ahead of performance.
