OAA Awarded Club of the Year Award

OAA enjoyed a 28% increase in membership over the 2017-2018 season.  OAA also increased the number of coaches on staff and the certification levels of those coaches.

In addition to competitive programing, OAA offers a Kinder and Junior Gym Program which focuses on developing great multi-sport motor skills, along with gymnastics-specific fundamentals.

The Youth, Teen and Adult Program’s focus is to offer a fun and safe atmosphere to encourage the enjoyment of movement.

OAA has hosted two NCCP courses, 2nd Ontario Cup, Ontario Championships and co-hosted 1st Ontario Cup.  They also host their Annual Invitational Year End Event.

OAA members have competed at Canada Cup; five members competed at Eastern Canadians and four members competed at National Championships and they have produced one Provincial Champion.

OAA has participated in many municipal events including the Santa Claus Parade and Alcon Dailies promotional event with Jason Burnett.

OAA has a high enrolment of adult and male athletes.  Two coaches from OAA have been clinicians at provincial training camps as well as 14 consecutive years at the Trampoline training camp at Canadian Adventure Camp.
