On October 26, Provincial Coaching Chair, Margaret Wichrowska organized another successful training camp. Camp was hosted by Toronto Aspirals Gymnastics Club with the goal in mind to enhance athletes’ preparation for the upcoming competitive season. Camp included a ballet class where athletes received valuable tips on turns and rotations from the ballet master – Cynthia Whelan. Participants had a chance to learn from a Cirque Du Soleil artist – Mary Sanders, and they also worked on various body and apparatus skills with National level coaches and judges, Tatjana Dolic, Svetlana Joukova, and Polina Tzankov.
Gymnastics Ontario would like to thank all of the athletes, coaches, and conductors for taking part in this event. GO also would like to thank Margaret for organizing and Toronto Aspirals Gymnastics Club for hosting this event. All of the raised funds will go towards further development of our provincial level athletes.
