Twenty-three Aerobic gymnasts represented Canada at the 2015 ANAC International Aerobics Championship held in San Diego, California, July 27 – 31st.
Team coaches, Louise Miller (Perth Saltos Athletics), Cristina Bontas-Tantaru (HOD/Coach-World Class GC), Kasey Whalen & Nicole Mignano (Assistant Coaches-World Class GC) prepared their athletes, many of whom were competing internationally for the first time, very well.

Junior AeroDance Group of 5 from Perth Saltos – Grace Lockett, Jenna Neil, Olivia Merpaw, Lucy McNamee, Julia Millard
Varsity AeroDance Group of 7 from World Class – Elissa Tantaru, Sarah Cameron, Paige Guyatt, Natalie Galletti, Siomara Fonseca, Naomi Lancia, Emma Clapman
This year ANAC introduced three new competitive categories in each of the 3 Age Divisions of AeroDance: Individual, Mixed Pairs & Trio AeroDance as well as Group/Team AeroDance.
The Varsity (15-17 yrs) AeroDance Team of 7 had an excellent showing finishing 8th in the Finals.
Congratulations to Megan Sutton (World Class) who captured the Bronze medal in the Varsity Individual AeroDance.
Special accolades go to the Junior AeroDance Team from Perth – Lockett, Neil, Merpaw, McNamee, Millard – for their awesome Silver medal performance in the Youth Finals.
