Becoming a Member Club
Gymnastics Ontario is the sport’s governing body in Ontario. We are a network of nearly 200 member clubs with over 125,000 participants. Gymnastics Ontario offers business support and resources to clubs. We also set operating standards and practices, including safety standards. All member clubs are True Sport members and have taken the Responsible Coaching Movement pledge.

Join Gymnastics Ontario
The Gymnastics Ontario Board of Directors must approve all New Club applications.
Note: It is important to have your club name approved by Gymnastics Ontario prior to registering with the Government of Ontario.
News clubs are required to provide Gymnastics Ontario with the following:
- Club Name
- Location
- Articles of Incorporation
- By laws (not-for-profit clubs only)
- Club Logo
- Police Record Check of President/Owner and Comp 1 Trained Coach
- List of Coaching Staff including NCCP number and certification level
- Copy of Signed Lease
- List of Equipment
- Photographs of facility
- Proof of insurance for any non-gymnastics activities/programs
Once you have completed the application process, you must email the Operations Manager at operations@gymnasticsontario.ca to advise that you have completed the process.
The Operations Manager will review your application and contact you to confirm the completion of your application and the date on which the Board of Directors will review it and either approve or deny your membership.
If your membership is denied all funds will be reimbursed.
