Team Ontario Post Day 13 – Wed Feb 25
In a historic moment at the 2015 Canada Winter Games, Nathan Shuh and Rachel Tam each earned a silver medal in the Men’s and Women’s Individual Trampoline Event. Nathan placed higher than anticipated and Rachel narrowly missed a gold medal by 0.7 points. Nonetheless, this places them among the first ever medalists in the discipline of trampoline at the Canada Games.
When asked how they felt about having their names etched in the Canada Games history books, Rachel said, “I feel really excited that I got to participate in first Canada Winter Games for the discipline of trampoline and placed well with a silver medal” while Nathan stated, “I’m really happy that I got to a chance be a part of history and promote trampoline as a discipline. I’m also excited to see what the next generation is going to show us”.
Next up is the Team Event where hopefully another historical story will be written for Team Ontario.
