Erin Oswald, Oakville Gymnastics Club, Receives Acrobatics Recreation Coach of the Year Award

Erin Oswald is one of the original Acro athletes in Ontario and Canada as a member of the Oakville Gymnastics Club.


Erin, and her trio, were members of Team Ontario and were National Champions, and have represented Oakville Gymnastics and Canada multiple times.


Erin retired from competition and began coaching recreational and competitive acrobatics.  She has a wealth of knowledge and experience along with excellent communication skills which has made her a natural coach.  Her athletes flourish under her very attentive eye.


Erin also attended the Gymnastics Ontario Coaching Congress and was a strong and detailed facilitator.  Erin has developed many partnerships that performed well in the province.  Team Ontario 2019 was very fortunate to have Erin’s Level 7 trio on the team.  This trio scored the highest Level 7 score at the 2019 Vegas Acro Cup, an international competition.


Erin also accompanied Team Ontario – Acro when the team was invited to visit Queen’s Park to be congratulated by the Premier of Ontario and his staff.


Erin was a member of the Acrobatic Gymnastics Technical Committee as the athlete representative for two years.
