Glendon Gymnastics is a privately-owned gymnastics center located in Kitchener Ontario. We offer Women’s Competitive Artistic Gymnastics, as well as Recreational Programs for children ages 18 months and up. Our 14,000 square foot gym is divided into three key areas – Kindergym, Recreational and Competitive with each area having their own sets of equipment.
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Women’s Artistic Gymnastics coach to work with our Pre-Competitive and Competitive team. Our Pre-Competitive and Competitive teams currently train in the evenings and on weekends. In this position you will work as part of a coaching team under the direction of top-tier master coach Dan Glendon who has coached nationally carded athletes up to the Olympic level as well as numerous Provincial and National individual event and all-around champions.
Candidates must possess:
- A strong work ethic with the flexibility to work evening and weekend hours
- NCCP Comp One training and/or certification or willing to obtain
- Experience coaching athletes on all events
- Good organizational and communication skills
- Risk Management/Respect in Sport certification
- Vulnerable Sector Police Background check
- First Aid (Willing to obtain)
Wages will be based on qualifications and experience. This may be a part-time or full-time position with added responsibilities.
