Gymnastics Energy is a not-for-profit organization, the largest gymnastics club in the Niagara Region, and a member of Gymnastics Ontario. Our custom facility opened in 2017, offering over 22,000sq feet of space for our recreational and competitive gymnasts. Our goals are to promote and encourage participation in the sport of gymnastics from recreational levels through to competitive.
The Executive Director is responsible for implementing the strategic plan and initiatives which support the growth and development of Gymnastics Energy, contributing to its long-term sustainability as a not-for-profit organization.
We are looking for applicants with:
Strong leadership skills, Enthusiastic, Positive Attitude
Excellent Communication Skills
University or College education in a Business-related field preferred
Experience in managing a team and leading our volunteers
Knowledge in Human Resources and Employment Standards
Comprehension of finances, budget and revenue generation
Proficient in the use of technology, social media
Experience and/or education in sports management preferred
Experience in a related field or position is an asset
Comfortable and knowledgeable in working with contracts and leases
Health and Safety training is an asset
Flexible 40-hour work week. The expectation would be some day/evening hours. Weekends may be needed especially during special events.
