Position Title: WAG Competitive Gymnastics Coach (Comp advanced preferred)

Location: EDGE Gymnastics (Ottawa, Ontario)

Certifications:
NCCP Comp 1 Certified (minimum)
First Aid/ CPR

Employment Type: Full time and Part time available

Salary: Based on Experience

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver training sessions for gymnasts, focusing on skill progression, conditioning, and routines
• Develop individualized plans to meet the needs and goals of each athlete
• Ensure safety protocols and proper spotting techniques are always followed
• Communicate regularly with gymnasts and their families regarding progress and goals
• Ability to coach a variety of recreational classes when needed
• Collaborate with other coaches to maintain program standards and continuity
• Attend competitions, clinics, and other events as required

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years coaching experience
• Excellent spotting skills
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required
• Enthusiastic, friendly and a team player
