The KW Gymnastics Club (KWGC) has been a recognized community sports pioneer in the region for over five decades. KWGC is a not-for-profit organization, offering a variety of classes for all ages and abilities. Reports To: WAG Head Coach & Program Director
Position: Full Time Position
Start Date: Flexible
Wage: Commensurate with Experience and Qualifications & Complete Benefits Package
**Relocation Expense Could be Considered**
Responsibilities Include:
- Coaching athletes within a decided schedule
- Working collaboratively to complete lesson planning
- Attendance at competitions, training camps, etc.
- Attend Club and WAG program staff meetings & training sessions
Knowledge, Skills & Certification:
- Experience coaching at the pre-competitive, compulsory and optional levels in Women’s artistic gymnastics
- Seeks initiative to complete tasks independently
- Ability to work in a strong team environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Energetic, active and engaging while coaching, to create a positive training environment for athletes
- Minimum Comp 2 WAG Certified & Comp 1 Trampoline certified
- First Aid certification and a Vulnerable Sector Check will also be required
