Marina Rose is extremely committed and dedicated to the sport of gymnastics. She is involved in the sport within Ontario in multiple roles as a gymnast, coach and judge. Marina also completed her bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology at Brock University in 2018.
Marina began competitive gymnastics in 2001 and moved to the Provincial level in 2003. She competed in over 10 Ontario Championships, becoming the Provincial Champion in the Level 8 age 16+ category in 2016. She was a member of Team Ontario for the 2018 Eastern Canadian Championships.
Marina spent three years coaching on the competitive team for the Niagara Acro Cats. She worked hard to ensure all her athletes reached their full potential. She provided a fun and encouraging environment for many of the first year competitive team members. Marina attended the 2014 & 2016 USGA Coaching Congress. She provides weekly direction to up and coming coaches. Marina naturally exhibits professionalism and is respected by every member of the club that interacts with her.
Marina is also a Provincial level judge. She began judging in 2015. She has judged at countless competition including the 2015 Level 6-10 Ontario Championships and the 2017 & 2018 Level 3-5 Ontario Championships.
The gymnasts within our club look up to her as a teammate, a coach and a judge. She inspires them to continue working for their goals.
