Marty is a man of integrity, is trustworthy, knowledgeable, kind and humorous. His coach skills and his ability to encourage and motivate athletes is amazing.
Marty’s classes are a fun place to be where each athlete can push themselves to be their best. Marty has taught these athletes how to accept and believe in themselves. His coaching style includes goal setting with each athlete, helping them identify where they want to go and then skillfully coaching them to attain their goals. His environment is one of positivity and hope.
Marty has consistently kept his knowledge base and coach credentials up to date. He has challenged himself and shown his athletes that lifelong learning is a good thing. He encourages his athletes to do the same and has helped many transition from athlete to coach, supporting them along the way.
In 2022-2023 Marty had 5 trampoline athletes, 13 double mini athletes and 5 tumbling athletes qualify for Ontario championships
Abby Joost placed 3rd at Nationals in the Level 5 Women’s 17+ double mini.
Marty has dedicated the past 25 plus years to this sport and its athletes. Velocity Sport / Vertical Zone is truly fortunate to have Marty on our team !
