Sam Zakutney (Penn State / Ottawa Gymnastics Centre) finished at the top of the podium (83.40) in the Senior All-Around competition at this year’s Canadian Championships besting René Cournoyer of Quebec by just 0.40.
Teammate Justin Karstadt (Minnesota / Futures) placed third with a score of 81.50.
In fifth and sixth place were two former Ontario athletes, Cory Paterson and Jeremy Bartholomeusz who are now competing for Québec and Nova Scotia respectively.
