Based on her stellar results at the 2015 Canadian Championships, Natalie Garcia, age 12, along with her coach Tatjana Dolic (Mississauga Newnorth Rhythmic Gymnastics Club) were selected by Gymnastics Canada to represent our country at the 2015 PAGU (Pan American Gymnastics Union) Rhythmic Gymnastics Development Camp. The camp was held at Bela Karolyi’s prestigious ranch outside of Houston, Texas and ran October 13-16, 2015. Only ten gymnasts from the Pan American Union (ARG, CAN, CR, GUA, PR, ESA, VEN) and their coaches were chosen to participate. Lead Camp staff included Salome Phazava (GEO), a Rhythmic gymnast currently ranked 4th in the world and her coach Eliso Bedoshvili; Yana Arintseva, an expert from the Russian Federation; Lana Lashoff, US Squad Coordinator; Sonya Yankova, US National Team ballet instructor; as well as national RG trainer, Amanda Scully.
