Rideau Gymnastics is the largest gymnastics facility in Ottawa and is part of a vibrant multi-activity center of 26,000 sq ft. We offer a variety of programs for all ages, in several gymnastics disciplines, with many levels ranging from recreational to competitive. Our athletes in the MAG/WAG/T&T/Aerobics teams compete at invitational, provincial, elite national and international levels. Our programs continue to develop and we are seeking full time and/or part time gymnastics coaches.
Job Requirements:
At least 3 years of experience in coaching competitive gymnastics
Minimum level 2 NCCP or Competition I in a gymnastics discipline or equivalent
Excellent interpersonal skills, motivated, engaged, enthusiast, friendly
Excellent planning abilities and ability to continuously provide effective training sessions
Excellent ability to assist athletes achieve positive growth in gymnastics, as athletes and individuals
Ability to work in a team environment
Required education: High School Diploma and Specialization in Gymnastics
Positive and professional communication with athletes, parents, other staff
Typical work week includes afternoons evening and weekend shifts
Job Responsibilities
Train athletes and assist in plan development based on club direction
Coach various other programs if needed and assist with other club activities
Ensure athlete progression and achievement of goals
Work in collaboration with all coaching staff to develop athletes and ensure club success

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time (10-22hrs/week)
Salary: $19/hr-$29/hr (part time) or $35,000-$55,000(full-time) based on experience and role assumed
