Spectrum Gymnastics is a recreational club, in Simcoe, supporting over 1,200 gymnasts and employs eleven coaches.
In October 2023, Spectrum Gymnastics hosted the “Developing Inclusion in Gymnastics” seminar and was invited to Manitoba Gymnastics to host this same seminar to clubs in the Manitoba region.
Spectrum Gymnastics coaches are continually developing their knowledge and skill level through professional development opportunities such as the Gymnastics Ontario coaching congress, the Gymnastics for All Development Clinics, NinjaCon and, of course, the National Coaching Certification Program.
Teagan Fitch, owner of Spectrum Gymnastics, is a huge advocate for adaptive gymnastics. This past year Spectrum had eight gymnasts participating in the Spring Cup Adaptive Showcase in Burlington.
Teagan, who was voted Simcoe’s Youth Entrepreneur of the Year in 2023, also sits on the Gymnastics Ontario – Gymnastics For All Committee.
In addition, Spectrum Gymnastics hosts ability training seminars for clubs, raising the awareness and providing professional development for clubs interested in running programs for adaptive gymnastics.
