On October 13, 2020, the updated Ontario Regulation 364/20 was published on the Government of Ontario’s website. At 3:00 pm on the afternoon of October 13, Dave Sandford participated in a townhall webinar with the Minister of Heritage, Sport, Tourism and Culture Industries, Hon. Lisa MacLeod at which point it still did not clarify some of the confusion around the rollback to Stage 2 for the regions of Toronto, Peel, and Ottawa. We are currently trying to get clarification to provide to clubs as soon as possible as to the impact of the new guidelines for the three regions in question.
Each club in these three regions will have to decide themselves whether or not to remain open or to pause their operations until we can provide clarification. Please know that the GO Board of Directors, Dave, and staff along with Pathway Group are working on your behalf to provide this information.
