Gymnastics Ontario Membership Suspension – John Smyth

Please be advised that Mr. John Smyth has been EXPELLED from Gymnastics Ontario and from any other member association of Gymnastics Canada, and is permanently banned from such membership in any capacity. This expulsion includes a life-time prohibition on re-applying for membership with Gymnastics Ontario in any capacity and from any other member association of Gymnastics Canada. Mr. Smyth is permanently ineligible to participate in Gymnastics Ontario activities in any capacity, including but not limited to judging, coaching, spectating and attendance at any Gymnastics Ontario events, and from any other member association of Gymnastics Canada.

Gymnastics Ontario has a zero-tolerance with respect to the harm of any participant in our Member Clubs. We are committed to supporting and listening to every individual who comes forward with a complaint.

Our Board of Directors are committed to providing a Safe Sport environment for all participants that is accessible, inclusive, and free from all forms of maltreatment.
