✨#ONGymWeek | DISCIPLINE HIGHLIGHT: WOMEN’S ARTISTIC GYMNASTICS✨ 🤸🏽‍♀️ Women’s Artistic Gymnastics (WAG) is the most popular and widely recognized gymnastics discipline, thrilling audiences worldwide with its stunning performances — proudly leading as a female-dominated sport. 💥 The competitive WAG program features 4 apparatuses: Vault, Uneven Bars, Beam, and Floor – each showcasing different skills and strengths. 🔥 Incredibly demanding, WAG requires a mix of strength, power, flexibility, agility, and courage, paired with technical precision and artistic expression. 🌟 When athletes master these elements, their routines flow seamlessly – making their performances look effortless and captivating to watch. Strong. Artistic. Fearless. From first handstands to fearless routines — every level, every journey matters. 🤝 Honouring the entire gymnastics community — the athletes, coaches, judges, host clubs, and dedicated volunteers who all play a vital role in making the sport possible. 🇨🇦 Ontario athletes continue to shine on the world stage, proudly representing Canada at the highest levels, including the Olympic Games.
